Seasonal offer email template
A time bound promotion tied to a date everyone knows.
A seasonal offer works when the season is a reason rather than a decoration. State the offer, the dates and who it suits in the first three lines, and let the deadline carry the urgency instead of the adjectives.

Subject lines that work with it
- [Discount] off until [date]
- [Season] offer: [specific benefit]
- Ends [date]: [offer]
How to write this email well
- Lead with the offer, not the occasion. The season is context, the discount is the message.
- Give the end date twice, in the subject and by the button. Most readers only see one of them.
- Segment out anyone who bought recently. Discounting to someone who just paid full price costs more than the sale earns.
Questions
How far ahead should I send a seasonal offer?
Send the first a week before, and a reminder on the final day. Two emails outperform one.
Should I discount or add value?
Adding value protects your pricing. Discounting is faster but teaches people to wait for the next sale.
What if I sell to businesses?
Seasonal framing works less well. Tie the deadline to their budget cycle instead of a holiday.
