Terms of service

Last updated: 13 September 2026

The short version. The heyyoshi tools are free and provided as they are. You run them in your own browser, from your own accounts, and you are responsible for what you send with them. There is no heyyoshi server and no account with us, so we never see or hold your data. Privacy is covered separately in the privacy policy.

What these terms cover

These terms cover the heyyoshi website at heyyoshi.in, the free browser extensions built here (Mailplate, Depot, and any that follow), and the free email template library. Installing or using any of them means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use them, which costs nothing because there is nothing to cancel and no account to close.

The tools are free, and provided as they are

Every tool here is free to use, with no account to create with us and nothing to pay. In return, they come as they are, with no warranty. They are small tools that do a specific job, and each one says on its own page what it does and where its limits are. We do our best to make them correct and to say the awkward parts out loud, but we cannot promise a tool is free of bugs, fits your particular purpose, or will keep working as the sites it runs on change.

To the extent the law allows, heyyoshi is not liable for loss or damage that comes from using these tools, including a message that did not send, a backup that was incomplete, or data lost when an extension is removed. You use them at your own discretion and are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything that matters.

You are responsible for how you use them

The tools act on your behalf, from your own accounts, so what they do is your responsibility, not ours.

The services the tools connect to

Each extension works inside another company's service, using the login already in your browser: Mailplate with Google and Gmail, Depot with claude.ai. heyyoshi is not affiliated with those companies, and your use of their services is governed by their own terms, not these. If one of them changes how it works, a tool that depends on it may need updating or may stop working, and that is a limit of building on someone else's platform rather than a promise we can make for them.

What we do not do

There is no heyyoshi server. We run no account system, no analytics and no telemetry, and we receive nothing from these tools, which is set out in full in the privacy policy. One consequence is worth stating here too: because your data never reaches us, we cannot recover it for you. Anything an extension keeps lives in your own browser, so uninstalling it removes that data, and only you have a copy.

Availability, and changes

These are free tools maintained by one person, so there is no guarantee of availability and no support commitment beyond the good-faith answers you get through each tool's support channel. A tool may change, or be retired, and when a tool is retired its page and release notes are kept so its history and any old links still resolve.

These terms may change. When they do, the date at the top is updated, and continuing to use the tools after that means you accept the change. Nothing here removes a right you have under the law that applies to you.

Price

Everything here is free today. That is how it is now, not a promise carved into stone forever, and what it will not be is a bait and switch: nothing you have already installed is going to start demanding money, and if a bigger tool ever justifies a price, it will say so on its own page before you install it.

Contact

Questions about these terms, or about anything one of these tools does, can go to the Support tab on that tool's Chrome Web Store listing, which reaches the developer directly, or to the developer email address shown there. The studio is heyyoshi, built by Yoshi Bansal.
