Last chance reminder email template
The final email before an offer closes.
A last chance email should be shorter than the one that announced the offer, repeat only the offer and the deadline, and go out on the final day. Most of the revenue from a promotion arrives in the last 24 hours.
At a glance
| Use it when | On the final day of an offer you already announced |

The template
Subject lines that work with it
- Ends today: [offer]
- Last chance for [discount]
- [Offer] closes tonight
How to write this email well
- Send it to people who did not act on the first email, not the whole list.
- Do not introduce a new argument. Repetition of the same offer is the point.
- Say the exact closing time, not just the day. "Midnight [timezone]" removes the ambiguity.
Questions
Does a last chance email annoy people?
Less than expected, if the offer was genuinely announced before and this is the only reminder.
When on the last day should it go out?
Morning in the recipient timezone. Evening sends catch people who cannot act until the next day.
Should I extend the deadline?
No. Extending once teaches everyone that your deadlines are negotiable.
