Final nudge email template
The last email before you close the thread for good.
A closing follow up should say plainly that it is the last one and make no ask at all. Removing the request is what makes it work: the reader can reply without being pulled back into a negotiation, and many of them do.

How to write this email well
- Mean it. If you send another email after this one, every future email from you is discounted.
- Drop the ask entirely. The pressure release is the whole mechanism.
- Leave the door open in one clause, not a paragraph: "if things change, you know where I am".

Why does the last email get replies?
Because it removes the obligation. People answer when replying costs them nothing.
Can I follow up again later?
Yes, but treat it as a fresh approach months later with a new reason, not a continuation of this thread.
Should it sound disappointed?
No. Any hint of guilt makes it manipulative, and readers notice.
